A gourmet's delight, Chef-patron Richard Arnold has previously earned Michelin Awards and is currently Shropshire's only "Masterchef of Great Britain".

The Corvedale Restaurant is located on the first floor with its magnificent open fireplace was the local courtroom in the 17th Century, sometimes presided by the infamous Judge Jefferies.

Our menus offer a tempting variety of traditional and modern fare. As you would expect, all our dishes are freshly prepared and cooked to order. We support the 'Local to Ludlow' food group, and source the majority of our food locally where possible. Please see our sample menus on the Bar Area page.

Although the Crown is open for food during our normal opening hours the Corvedale Restaurant is also open:

- Friday and Saturday evenings, from 6.45 to 11pm with last food order at 8.45.

- Sunday lunchtimes from 12pm with last food orders at 2.00.

Either the Corvedale Restaurant or the Crown Inn is available for private parties or for that special occasion, requiring advance booking. Please call us for availability and menus.
