A gourmet's delight, Chef-patron Richard Arnold has previously earned Michelin Awards and is a "Masterchef of Great Britain". With many awards and 2 AA Rosettes for his food and we recently included in the 2012 ' Telegraph's -The Good Food Guide' as one of the 300 best restaurants in the UK.

The Corvedale Restaurant is located on the first floor with its magnificent open fireplace was the local courtroom in the 17th Century, sometimes presided by the infamous Judge Jefferies.

Our menus offer a tempting variety of traditional and modern fare. As you would expect, all our dishes are freshly prepared and cooked to order. We support the 'Local to Ludlow' food group, and source the majority of our food locally where possible. Please see our sample menus on the Bar Area page.

Although The Crown is open for food in the downstairs bar areas during our normal opening hours the Corvedale Restaurant is also open:
- Friday and Saturday evenings, from 6.45 to 11pm with last food order at 8.45.
- Sunday lunchtimes with a weekly changing traditional roast is served from 12pm midday with last food orders at 2.00pm.

The Crown Country Inn is also available to hold private parties. If you have a birthday, anniversary, christening, wedding or just a family gathering for that special occasion. We can accommodate your party in any area. Whether it is for a smaller party of 10 or 16 in the Bay Dining Restaurant, a buffet, or even a party for up to 40 in our Corvedale Restaurant.
